Frequently asked questions
Is converting FB2 to TXT free?
Yes. Conversion is free, with no sign-up and no watermarks.
Are my FB2 files uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, so your files never leave your device.
What carries over from FB2 to TXT?
Text, chapters and the table of contents, the cover, pictures, bold and italics. The text reflows to fit the reader’s screen, so pages break differently. Books with copy protection (DRM), like most store-bought ones, can’t be converted. DjVu pages are pictures: they go into PDF as they are, and TXT needs a text layer.
