Frequently asked questions
Can the watermark be removed?
The text is added on top of the page content. A viewer can’t hide it, but a PDF editor can delete it. To keep the file from being opened by others, also set a password.
Does the document text stay selectable?
Yes. Pages aren’t re-rendered: text, links and vector graphics stay as they were, only the watermark is added.
Is it free?
