Cover
JPG or PNG; a square image works best. It replaces the current cover in every file. You can also drop it onto the page together with the audio.
Change the title, artist, album, year, track number, genre and cover of MP3, M4A, FLAC, OGG and Opus files. The sound is copied as it is, without re-encoding, so the quality stays the same. All in your browser — your music is not uploaded.
How it works
- Choose one or more audio files — MP3, M4A, FLAC, OGG or Opus. The current tags appear as hints in the fields.
- Fill in only the fields you want to change: empty fields keep their current value. Add a JPG or PNG cover if you like.
- Click Save tags and download the files: same format, same sound, new tags.
Frequently asked questions
Does editing tags change the sound quality?
No. The audio stream is copied byte for byte; only the tags and the cover are rewritten. The file keeps its format, bitrate and length.
Can I remove all tags from a file?
Yes. Tick “Remove all other tags”: everything you have not filled in is removed, including the cover unless you add a new one. To remove just the cover, tick “Remove the current cover”.
Is it free?
Yes. All tools are free, with no sign-up and no watermarks.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so your files never leave your device.
