Frequently asked questions
Is the photo metadata kept?
No, EXIF is always removed: besides the location it can hold a small copy of the original shot in which the hidden faces would still be visible.
Can someone unblur the photo?
Pixelation and a black box cannot be reversed. A light blur sometimes can be partly sharpened, so for documents, passports and number plates choose “Strong” or a black box.
Is it free?
