How it works

Frequently asked questions
Will the quality get worse?
A rotation without a flip is usually written into the file’s metadata, and the video itself is copied untouched. A flip changes the frames themselves, so the video is re-encoded at the quality you choose.
Why is my phone video lying on its side?
Phones store the orientation separately, and some players and editors ignore it. Rotating here bakes the right orientation in, so the video looks the same everywhere.
