Frequently asked questions
Which settings should I start with?
For a slightly soft video “Medium” sharpness is enough. For grainy evening or old footage add “Light” or “Medium” noise reduction: it is applied before sharpening, so the grain is not sharpened too. “Strong” can make the picture look artificial.
How does stabilization work?
It finds how the frame moves between shots and shifts it the other way, filling the edges by mirroring. It smooths small handheld shake; fast pans and strong jolts stay. It takes noticeably longer than the other fixes.
