Frequently asked questions
Why does the resolution of the video go down?
At a low bitrate a smaller frame looks sharper than a large one full of blocks. The frame is reduced only when needed — to 720p, 480p or lower — and is never enlarged.
What if the video already fits?
Then it is returned as is, in its original quality and without re-encoding. If the size is too small for the length of the video, you’ll see the smallest size that will work.
