How it works

- Click “Start recording” and allow access; for the screen, pick the whole screen, a window or a tab. Pause and resume whenever you need.
- Click “Stop”, check the recording in the player and download it as WebM or MP4 — or convert a voice recording to MP3.
Frequently asked questions
Why can’t I record the screen on my phone?
Mobile browsers don’t let websites capture the screen. On a phone you can still record from the camera or the microphone; for the screen, open the page on a computer in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
Is there a time limit?
There’s no fixed limit, but the recording is kept in the browser’s memory until you download it. After an hour or once the file gets large you’ll see a warning, and the recording stops on its own before the tab runs out of memory.
Is it free?
Yes. All tools are free, with no sign-up and no watermarks.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so your files never leave your device.
