Frequently asked questions
How do I put the M4R ringtone on my iPhone?
Copy the M4R file to the iPhone with Finder (macOS) or iTunes / Apple Devices (Windows), or save it in GarageBand on the phone and export it as a ringtone. Then pick it in Settings → Sounds.
Why at most 30 seconds?
iPhone does not accept ringtones longer than 40 seconds, and a call rarely rings longer than 30. If the fragment is longer, the ringtone ends 30 seconds after its start.
